Overview
Perfast is the generic brand name for an enterprise wide range of integrated Human Resource software applications. The Perfast range comprises three integrated modules: Personnel, Payroll and Time & Attendance, which can be supplied as separate building blocks to a fully integrated solution. The full suite offers an extremely comprehensive solution ‘from swipe card to payslip’. The solution also offers Training, Health & Safety, Performance Appraisal, Recruitment and Establishment/Posts modules. End User Report writing, e.g., Crystal, Impromptu, and seamless integration with other third party environments e.g. Microsoft Office, are facilitated through ODBC compatibility.

Perfast - The Modules
Perfast products streamline the entire human resource process from automated attendance data collection to payslip production and personnel management. The range includes the following modules:
Personnel
A comprehensive, integrated, easy-to-use HR management information system that assists in the administration of the different HRM tasks. It also offers additional modules including Training, Health & Safety, Performance Appraisal, Recruitment and Establishment/Posts. Perfast maintains a complete profile of all staff and monitors their progress and requirements throughout the organisation. A vital decision support tool.
Payroll
A modern, powerful and flexible Payroll management system Perfast has been designed to meet the statutory and management analysis and reporting requirements of an organisation. Detailed staff costing analysis is provided. Perfast Payroll shares the same common database with Perfast HR and Perfast T&A.
Time and Attendance
A sophisticated time based system, designed to collect and regulate attendance information. Eliminates the time and expense of administering manual time sheets. A vital aid in monitoring employee attendance activities. Data capture can be achieved through many methods including swipe cards, proximity readers and other devices. Various complex combinations of Work Patterns, Shift Patterns and Rosters are facilitated.

Perfast - Stand-Alone or Integrated
Perfast is highly flexible and its modules are designed to run on a stand-alone basis or added as building blocks to a fully integrated solution.
If using a single module on a stand-alone basis, Perfast can interface with other third-party systems e.g. Perfast Personnel or T&A with an independent payroll package. As such Perfast is capable of receiving or transferring data for the generation of any productivity/employee cost-related data that your organisation requires.
Alternatively, Perfast modules can be implemented as a fully integrated HR system, as is becoming increasingly popular. An integrated Perfast system can consist of any mix of the three products, implemented as building blocks in an order best suited to meet a client's needs.
Using integrated Perfast modules on a single corporate database means that no re-inputting of data is required, as the modules interact seamlessly with each other e.g. additions and amendments made to employee files in Personnel are available in Payroll and Time & Attendance immediately. Duplication (or triplication, in some cases) of effort is eliminated. This allows faster and much more interactive access to information.

Integration also ensures the integrity and accuracy of data between applications. As there is only one source of data, consistency of information is assured between the separate departments in your organisation. No longer should there be discrepancies between HR and Payroll departments with respect to headcount, overtime costs, etc.
A single database source particularly facilitates management reporting across modules with tools such as End User Report Writers and interactive ODBC links with other products eg spreadsheets. Multi source reporting is eliminated.

Perfast is designed to take maximum advantage of other software tools, which are commonly used within organisations. Perfast will allow you to manipulate your information in any fashion you wish as it facilitates dynamic ODBC links with applications such as spread sheets, graphics packages, Nominal Ledgers, etc.
Perfast is compatible with the Microsoft product range and other ODBC compliant environments e.g. Excel and Word.
In many ways the entire integration of Perfast products with other tools combines to create a superb orchestra of computer technologies, which work in harmony with each other for the benefit of the user.
