Perfast - Easy to use
Perfast, with a well designed user interface, is very flexible and easy-to-use. On screen help facilities are available to field level. Its ease-of-use increases its acceptability to end-users and encourages them to optimise benefits. All three modules have a similar user interface and other aspects in common with the result that training requirements are reduced

Perfast - A Smart Product
Perfast Personnel is a 'smart' product. It is designed to prompt the user with relevant information to enable decisions based on data contained in other modules. It 'cross checks' new data with existing records (e.g., if an employee is booked for holidays the same day you wish to place them on a training course Perfast will advise you of this and automatically place them on a 'waiting list' for the next available course). This ensures information held in Perfast is accurate. It also eliminates duplication of input and having to manually check other modules within the software.
Perfast facilitates 'one touch' summary information on most employee details. This information is available no matter which screen you are in. The sort of data immediately available includes absence, holiday, salary, contract, performance, training summaries, etc. This gives you valuable information on-screen instantly - no need to exit to other areas of the product or produce a series of different reports to get the information.

Integration also ensures the integrity and accuracy of data between applications. As there is only one source of data, consistency of information is assured between the separate departments in your organisation. No longer should there be discrepancies between HR and Payroll departments with respect to headcount, overtime costs, etc.
A single database source particularly facilitates management reporting across modules with tools such as End User Report Writers and interactive ODBC links with other products eg spreadsheets. Multi source reporting is eliminated.

Diary
Perfast is a 'proactive' system. It alerts users to forthcoming events before they occur (eg probation termination, salary reviews, holidays due, etc). It is also persistent in that it will continue to remind you of tasks that need to be actioned.

Automatic Letters
Perfast utilises your Word processor to facilitate the streamlining of letter production. There are many areas within Perfast where you are prompted to mail a letter or memo to an individual. Through the use of its automated letter writing facility, Perfast can significantly reduce the secretarial workload in a Human Resources department.

Reports
Perfast has both standard and End User defined reporting facilities with built-in graphical presentation. Both are very powerful and flexible, yet easy to use. Users can report on all data within Perfast and can output in a variety of ways including hardcopy, web browser, graphics, spreadsheet and export to other database systems e.g. access.

Data Export/Import
Perfast facilitates a dynamic link to other applications such as spreadsheets, word processors, graphics, etc., giving you the freedom to manipulate your information in any fashion you wish at your own desktop. This dynamic link is maintained through ODBC connectivity.

Image Capabilities
Image scanning can be supported so that photographs, signatures, forms, job applications, etc. can be collected within Perfast. This functionality is of particular importance to a Human Resource department as image technology is providing users with a greater range of solutions (security & identification, easy retrieval of text based certificates, CV's, etc.).

Internet/Intranet
Perfast can be accessed and used over the Internet, which is a tremendous advantage to organisations with distributed locations. Internet functionality can be provided for timesheet input, display of balances, holiday or leave request forms, grievance entries and access to legislative data (Working Hours, Welfare Entitlements, etc). Other facilities can be made available including Employee Productivity or Efficiency Suggestion Scheme, Pension Benefit Statements, Internal Recruitment Applications and many other aspects involving employees and their normal activities.
